Hello all. Jeff here. Recent retiree from Ford, where I spent the last 15 years working on Electric vehicles...

We recently moved to active adult community, and will be buying a EV cart soon. I will read through threads...but are their brands I should stay away from? I see Club Car, EZ GO, ICON, and Yamaha here in the community. Want something with good bones, and that will have parts available. I love to tinker on cars...and plan to work on this cart too!

Asian made carts are crap
i love the 96 and up Ezgo TXT 36v or 48v but rust in battery tray
the Club Car DS 36v and 48v have aluminum battery tray no rust
I am not a big fan of the gas carts i have worked on a lot but owned only one

Hello I am new to the E-Z-Go family and just have a couple questions? My first question is does it matter how the batteries are serious?
