Electric What Is my golf cart voltage?

Discussion in 'Other Resources' started by OUTL4W, Jan 25, 2017.

  1. If you are unsure what voltage your electric golf cart has, here is an easy way to check!

Take a look at one of your batteries. If you have 3 water filler caps on the battery, this means your battery has 3 cells. Each cell is 2 volts. So 3 cells x 2 volts = 6 volts. If you find 4 water filler caps on a battery, the battery has 4 cells. By using the same formula above you can find the voltage of the battery, which is 8 volts.

Once you have found 1 batteries voltage, you can do Volts per battery x Number of batteries = golf cart voltage.
