No! If your engine does not start within 2 minutes under normal circumstances, your engine may be flooded with gas or there is a problem. If you are ever in this situation, there is a serious danger of overheating the starter. Your starter can then break or even catch fire.

Things to look for:
  • Electrical Problem (I.E. Spark)
  • Not Getting Gas
  • Bad Compression
  • Valve Adjustment
  • Dirty Air/Gas Filter
Starters can retail at over $200.00. Running simple diagnostics can save you a bundle of money in the future.
