Hi, has anyone mounted the double take Titan body on an ezgo express 6 48v chassis? Trying to get ideas on how to mount the controller in the pod?

THE BODY SWAP IS NOT TO HARD , AND LOOKS GREAT !
HAVE NOT HEARD OF ANYONE MOVEING THE CONTROLLER TO CENTER POD
IT WOULD INVOLVE A MASIVE RE-WIRE
WHY DO YOU WANT TO MOVE IT ?

It was mounted in the seat pod from factory. Its an express 6 with 8 6v batteries. The 2 extra batteries are put where the controller normally mounts and where the charger plug would go.

you are only changing the body (front &back not center pod) i see no reason to move the controller

post a photo of your cart from side , the center pod and battery compartment

Center pod has to be changed to match rest of body color! Is the pic of a txt or an express 6? The controller and solenoid were mounted in the factory pod which was a full pod mounted to floor. The Titan pod is mounted to floor by the framing of pod! The plastic body for the pod is only a few inches deep not going all the way to floor! I tried posting a pic of cart before I took it apart but the pic is to large!

OK LOOKING AT BODY INSTALL THE CHARGER PLUG GOES IN REAR SEAT

OK I SEE THE CENTER POD INSTALL
YOU COULD INSTALL THE CONTROLLER UP SIDE DOWN UNDER CENTER POD
I WOULD PUT AN ALUMINUM PLATE TO HOLD IT BETTER AND DEFLECT HEAT

The controller is mounted upright withe solenoid on the bracket. I'm thinking of using a black tote and cutting a hole in the pod to enclose it and protect it and also hide the wires n cables

REMEMBER CONTROLLERS GET HOT ... MAKE SURE IT GETS PLENTY OF AIR
ON A SIDE NOTE CONTROLLERS AND SOLENOID CAN BE MOUNTED ANYWAY
